Apprentice

Full-Time

Position Summary:

The Apprentice Plumber will be responsible for assisting plumbers with repairs, installations, and maintenance, as well as troubleshooting issues and communicating effectively with customers.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as occasion may require

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Enrolled in plumbing school, working towards a Journeyman license

  • Punctual

  • Self-motivated

Journeyman/Master

Full-Time
 

Position Summary:

In this position, it will be your job to assist our residential and commercial clients with all of their plumbing and drainage issues.

Your tasks may involve installation of new plumbing and drain systems, locating leaks and repairing them, as well as repairing blockages and corrosion that are impacting the quality of the client’s system. You will also be asked to repair and install new fixtures, pipe fittings, and pipes, among other things.

As one of our journeyman/master plumbers, you will work directly with our clients. So you should be able to demonstrate professionalism while working at the job site and be willing to answer any questions that may arise. You will also be asked to observe all pertinent health and safety requirements while you work.

 

Journeyman/Master Plumber Responsibilities:

  • Drive to our clients’ homes, places of business, and jobsites

  • Assess the state of the client’s plumbing system and determine the source of its problems

  • Use your specialized knowledge and training to repair and maintain plumbing and drainage systems

  • Answer any questions that the client may have about their systems

  • Install new pipes and fixtures in new construction

  • Ability to read plans, specifications and submittals

  • Strong communication skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve

  • Be the lead on the jobsite answering questions and teach apprentices

  • Ability to be on-call

  • Familiar with the current plumbing code and all local and state requirements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or another type of formal plumbing training with a Journeyman’s License

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to use a wide variety of plumbing tools and techniques

  • All state and federal-mandated licenses required to practice

  • Willingness to respond to emergency plumbing situations at odd hours – as occasion may require
